Ontario Contribution Limits & Eligibility

Under the Municipal Elections Act, only an individual normally resident in Ontario may contribute, and a maximum of $1,200 may be given to a single candidate — from personal funds only. Corporations and trade unions cannot contribute. Contributions are not tax-deductible.
